Pick Your Own Open Every Day in Season<\/h3>\n<\/div>

A Visit to Alstede Farms: <\/strong>Visit our working farm for a truly memorable farm experience! Not only do we offer a Pick Your Own (PYO) experience but we are a fun family destination where you can plan on spending the day. Visit and feed our friendly farm animals, enjoy children’s activities<\/a> like pony rides, bouncy house, or wagon train rides, live music on weekends, and more. We offer hot food and snacks<\/a>, freshly made doughnuts and coffees, homemade ice cream<\/a> and more. We have ample parking, rest rooms, and baby changing areas. Pick Your Own Admission Hours: Please see our Hours of Operation<\/a> to see current schedule.<\/strong> You must arrive in that 30 minute window that appears on your purchased ticket, but can stay for picking as long as you like until closing.<\/p>

What’s Included in PYO Admission: <\/strong>Pick Your Own (PYO) admission includes the container to hold fruits\/vegetables and cost of produce picked. Admission also includes scenic hay wagon rides around our farm, access to our farm mazes\/trails<\/a> (season dependent), and access to our giant hay pyramid.<\/p>

What Can I Pick:<\/strong><\/p>

We have a large variety of PYO offerings. Items available for picking vary depending on month and season. You can view our general harvest schedule<\/a> as a guideline of what we typically offer for picking each year. The availability and items may vary as weather and other conditions can affect crops and harvest timing. Department of Health & FDA Mandated Pet Policy: <\/strong>Please review our pet policies<\/a> before arrival. Please be advised that pets\/dogs\/animals are not permitted in the PYO fields due to updated Department of Health and FDA Food Safety guidelines.<\/p>

Handicap Accessible Hay Wagons: <\/strong>We offer handicap accessible hay wagon rides for those needing that service. Please click here<\/a> to learn more.<\/p>

Pick Your Own Helpful Tips:<\/strong><\/h4>

Coming to the farm is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors and actually see where your food is grown. Although there are tractor drawn wagon rides available around the farm, you may need to walk through the fields and orchards as you pick, so we recommend that you wear comfortable, walking shoes, stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and maybe a hat on those hot, sunny days. We have pull carts on site to assist you with your harvest available on a first-come-first-serve basis.<\/p>

All pick your own activities subject to change without notice due to weather conditions. This farm is a smoke free environment. We do not allow smoking in the fields, orchards, market, or tented areas. Please bring photo id and credit card used to purchase online ticket(s) with you to the event in order to gain access. All online orders include a single processing fee of eight dollars ($8.00). Tickets purchased at the PYO sheds will incur a $8.00 per ticket convenience fee.
